FINANCIAL GRANTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE - If financial considerations are an obstacle to your attending Building Bridges in 2025, we encourage you to apply for a Star Island Financial Grant and participate in the Building Bridges’ Bring a Friend/Community Building Discount Program!
The cost of to attend Building Bridges is broken down into 4 parts:
1 - Room and Board: Includes ferry tickets to and from the Island, lodging, and all meals.
2 - Conference Fee: This money goes directly to the conference and is used to compensate conference leadership, workshop leaders and youth program staff. It also covers workshop and program supplies, events, social hour, etc.
3- Parking: Parking is available at the dock for an additional Sunday to Sunday
4- Hall Monitoring Services: All families with children 8 and under will be housed on the second floor of the Oceanic Hotel and charged the hall monitoring fee
