FINANCIAL GRANTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE - If financial considerations are an obstacle to your attending Building Bridges in 2026, we encourage you to apply for a Star Island Financial Grant and participate in the Bring a Friend/Community Building Discount Program!
The cost of attending Building Bridges is broken down into 3 parts:
1 - Room and Board: Includes ferry tickets to and from the Island, lodging, and all meals.
2 - Conference Fee: This money goes directly to the conference and is used to compensate conference leadership, workshop leaders, and youth program staff. It also covers workshop and program supplies, events, social hour, etc.
3- Parking: Parking is available at the dock for an additional Sunday-to-Sunday

Room and Board Fee Per Person
*If sharing a room, you choose who your room is shared with. It is often family members or friends that you are traveling with.
Adult 18+
* Standard rooms are in the Oceanic Hotel, Gosport Building, and Cottages with a shared half-bathroom that the whole floor uses.
Standard Shared $ 1,325
Standard Single $ 1,890
* Motel units offer rooms each with private en-suite half-bathroom.
Motel Shared W/half bath $ 1,665
Motel Single w/half bath $ 2,435
Youth Rates (0-17)
0-5 Years $ 0
6-11 Years. $ 615
12-17 Years $ 880
Conference Fee Per Person
Adults (18+) $175
Youth (0-17) $100
Family Cap of $550
Parking Fee Per Car
$18 a day, i.e. a car parked Sunday to Sunday is $126
